About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team at Niksi Funding. As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients in obtaining loans and navigating the loan application process. Your primary responsibility will be evaluating loan applications, analyzing financial information, and determining the eligibility of applicants. If you have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their financial goals, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements :

  • Evaluate loan applications and analyze financial information provided by applicants.

  • Review credit reports, income documentation, and other relevant documents to determine the eligibility of loan applicants.

  • Calculate debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and other financial metrics to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.

  • Provide personalized guidance and advice to clients on available loan products, interest rates, and repayment options.

  • Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing and closing.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of loan products, lending policies, and industry regulations.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, financial professionals, and other referral sources to generate new business opportunities.

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and changes in lending practices.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven work experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in the financial industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of various loan products, including conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans, and USDA loans.

  • Strong understanding of loan origination processes, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficient in financial analysis and the ability to interpret credit reports, income statements, and tax returns.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and referral sources.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple loan applications simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with loan origination software and other relevant tools.
